General Statement of Privacy
Capitol Game Science Media, LLC (“CGSM”) respects the privacy of its users and of those who use our applications (apps).   By downloading, installing, and using our apps, you are consenting to the information collection and use practices described in this privacy policy.
Subject to the provisions of applicable laws, any information you submit to CGSM will not be used in any manner to which you have not consented.
The terms codified in this policy cover all brands, companies, and organizations associated with or wholly-owned subsidiaries of CGSM.

Personally Identifiable Information
Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) is defined as (1) any information that can be used to distinguish or trace an individual’s identity and (2) any other information that is linked or linkable to an individual. PII includes, but is not limited to, your e-mail address and zip code. 
We simply do not collect PII from users.
It is CGSM’s policy not to collect PII about you on from the app without your knowledge or action. 
Except when otherwise described in this Privacy Policy, the PII you provide on the Site will not be shared with entities outside of CGSM without your permission.

Use of Personally Identifiable Information
It is our general policy not to make PII available to anyone other than our employees, staff, and agents. We will never sell your e-mail address or other PII. The PII you provide will be used to deliver more effective customer service, improve the app(s) and other CGSM products, and provide you with relevant information related to our products. If CGSM contracts a third party to act on our behalf, such as a developer or public relations company, we will only provide them with as much information as needed to provide services and will require they comport with the restrictions of our privacy policy while within the scope of their employment with us and providing said services on our behalf.

CGSM may disclose PII if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on CGSM or the app; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of CGSM; or (c) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of the CGSM employees or agents, users of the CGSM products or services, or members of the public.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information
Non-PII is all information not defined above as PII.  Non-PII includes, but is not limited to, information we automatically collect on your use and/or actions on our apps (e.g., user traffic patterns, in-app purchases). In addition, when a user downloads our app, our partners may collect information about the type of mobile device, operating system, and country of use.
CGSM recognizes that certain user information is of key demographic nature (e.g., race, age, national origin, income), while Non-PII, is still of sensitive nature to users.
As a general matter, CGSM does not collect demographic information about you through regular use of the app(s).  However, in recognition of the sensitive nature of such information, in the event that CGSM  comes into possession of such information, whether through your voluntary submission of information in response to a special feature on the apps or by receiving such information from any of our business partners, such information shall, when coupled with any of your PII, be deemed PII and will be treated by CGSM as such.
Use of Non-PII
As a general matter, Non-PII helps us determine how the pp is being used, identify popular features and variants of the app(s), and determine the effectiveness of promotional activities regarding the app(s). In the course of collecting Non-PII, that information may be shared with third parties.
Do Not Track
CGSM respects user choice and controls. To the extent possible, the app(s) responds to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals communicated by your device. However, there is currently no DNT industry standard defined; therefore, CGSM cannot guarantee that it responds to the DNT signal on your browser.
Third Parties
The app(s) may contain links to other internet websites, including co-branded or affiliated sites. Unless otherwise explicitly stated, we are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such websites, including such websites’ use of any information.

Security
By using the app(s), you understand and agree that “perfect” security does not exist anywhere, including on the internet.  Information you send to this app, including e-mail messages, may not be encrypted.

Other Services
You may be able to access certain information related to third parties on the app(s), or via links or click-throughs from the apps, regarding the goods or services of third parties. By using the app(s), you understand and agree that your access to or use of those services is subject to the agreement between you and the associated third parties, and CGSM shall have no liability whatsoever for any such access or use.

Notice to Parents or Guardians
We want to help you protect your child’s privacy. We encourage you to talk to your children about safe and responsible use of their personal information while using the internet. In particular, the CGSM does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13, or knowingly allow such persons to register. If you are under 13, please do not attempt to register for  CGSM or send any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address.  Persons under age 13 shall neither provide any personal information to the App Association nor do the same on the apps of CGSM. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will make commercially reasonable efforts to delete such information from our database as quickly as possible. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a child under 13, please contact us via the “Contact Us” link on the our website. We recommend that minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents for permission before sending any information about themselves to anyone over the internet.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within the District of Columbia to resolve any legal matter arising from this Privacy Policy and the privacy practices of CGSM. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that CGSM shall be allowed to apply for injunctive relief (or an equivalent type of urgent legal relief) in any jurisdiction. CGSM makes no representation that this Privacy Policy and such practices comply with the laws of any other country. Visitors who use the Site and reside outside of the United States do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws if, and to the extent, local laws are applicable.
